How it works.

It takes approximately 90 days to overcome porn addiction.

It's called the NeverFap Deluxe 90 Day Rule, because those without healthy coping mechanisms rarely make it past 90 days.

In other words, if you can make it past 90 days without relapsing, then it most likely means you've developed effective control over your mind.

NeverFap Deluxe aims to teach you this control.

In most cases, getting past the 90 day mark will usually signify the end of your porn addiction forever.

On the other hand, if you struggle to consistently get past 90 days, then it most likely means you're approaching your recovery in the wrong way.

Because it's easy to get to 30 days (or even 60 days) using unhealthy coping mechanisms.

Including bipolar obsession, mindless over-working, distracting ourselves through escapism, self-criticism as a consequence of being excessively judgemental, and more.

However, they almost always result in relapse.

can happen over 90 days.

...and it's these situations where unhealthy coping mechanisms crumble.

This is where 90% of relapse happens.

Because unhealthy coping mechanisms don't help you deal with your emotions. They only help you successfully ignore them until they become unmanagable.

Relapse which could have been avoided, if only you had invested in healthy coping mechanisms which would have made dealing with those tough situations, trivial.

Like, absurdly trivial.

With my healthy coping mechanisms in place, I know in precise detail exactly what I need to do to keep my mind regulated and under control. Without thought.

Now imagine how awesome it would be to have that kind of control over your own life.

You see, overcoming porn addiction isn't really about porn.

It's about developing control over your mind.

...and that's really all healthy coping mechanisms are.

Skills and abilities which provide you with control over your mind, so that when your mind is feeling lost and under pressure, it won't fumble and collapse like a tower of cards.

Most people are severely deficient in one or two of these areas.

Now, this is where it gets hard.

Since I don't know you (although I'm sure you're lovely), it's difficult for me to take you down a particular path to help you develop control over your mind.

Not only does it help us build the NeverFap Deluxe Community, however it's a great opportunity for you to receive help and ask questions from someone who's been there before.

There's simply too much useful content on this website that it's hard to know where you should focus.

Not to mention, everyone is truly different in terms of their life circumstances and a strong focus of NeverFap Deluxe is helping you get it right the first time.
