How it works
It takes approximately 90 days to overcome porn addiction.
It's called the NeverFap Deluxe 90 Day Rule, because those without healthy coping mechanisms rarely make it past 90 days.
In other words, if you can make it past 90 days without relapsing, then it most likely means you've developed effective control over your mind.
NeverFap Deluxe aims to teach you this control.
In most cases, getting past the 90 day mark will usually signify the end of your porn addiction forever.
On the other hand, if you struggle to consistently get past 90 days, then it most likely means you're approaching your recovery in the wrong way.
Because it's easy to get to 30 days (or even 60 days) using unhealthy coping mechanisms.
Including bipolar obsession, mindless over-working, distracting ourselves through escapism, self-criticism as a consequence of being excessively judgemental, and more.
However, they almost always result in relapse.
...and it's these situations where unhealthy coping mechanisms crumble.
This is where 90% of relapse happens.
Because unhealthy coping mechanisms don't help you deal with your emotions. They only help you successfully ignore them until they become unmanagable.
Relapse which could have been avoided, if only you had invested in healthy coping mechanisms which would have made dealing with those tough situations, trivial.
Like, absurdly trivial.
With my healthy coping mechanisms in place, I know in precise detail exactly what I need to do to keep my mind regulated and under control. Without thought.
Now imagine how awesome it would be to have that kind of control over your own life.
Because I can teach you that.
Period.
It's about developing control over your mind.
...and that's really all healthy coping mechanisms are.
Skills and abilities which provide you with control over your mind, so that when your mind is feeling lost and under pressure, it won't fumble and collapse like a tower of cards.
For example, learning to remain calm and collected with a clear frame of mind, rather than react in hesitation to your overbearing thoughts and feelings.

Value your mental health above all.

So you may be wondering.
What are some of these unhealthy coping mechanisms?
Self-criticism as a means of motivation.
Judging others to feel better about ourselves.
Obsession with the intent of keeping our minds distracted.
Incessant rationalisation of our thoughts.
Pushing ourselves excessively as a solution to our feelings of inadequacy.
Embracing depression as a coping mechanism.
Escapism.
Which is why.
We want to be adopting some healthy coping mechanisms instead.
Skills and abilities which have been designed to help us deal with our feelings and emotions, in a concise and effective manner. Like smashing ice with a sledgehammer.
Some healthy coping mechanisms include.Remaining calm and calculated in the face of stress and uncertainty.
Keeping our minds wide, aware and open at all times.
Not taking our difficult feelings and emotions personally.
Openly communicating our problems and feelings to others.
Embracing vulnerability as a positive step forward.
Learning to love and accept ourselves for who we are.
Meditating on a regular basis in order to remain calm and balanced.
It's simple.
With Practice and Consistency. NeverFap Deluxe.
Don't even think about cheap work arounds. I will hurt you.
Practice and Consistency are the only two things which matter to your recovery.
Everything else is pure noise.
There are no cheap hacks, like putting a porn filter on your computer as if that's actually going to physically stop you from pursuing your addiction.
It doesn't work.

Most people are severely deficient in one or two of these areas.
Now, this is where it gets hard.
Since I don't know you (although I'm sure you're lovely), it's difficult for me to take you down a particular path to help you develop control over your mind.

Not only does it help us build the NeverFap Deluxe Community, however it's a great opportunity for you to receive help and ask questions from someone who's been there before.

There's simply too much useful content on this website that it's hard to know where you should focus.
Not to mention, everyone is truly different in terms of their life circumstances and a strong focus of NeverFap Deluxe is helping you get it right the first time.
Regardless, here are some basic guidelines.
Awareness.
This is your mana. You'll need as much of this stuff as you can and as a result, you'll always need to work on your awareness.
Calmness.
If you feel as if you don't have any healthy coping mechanisms, then you'll want to work on your calmness.
Ambition.
If you struggle with motivation and life purpose, you'll probably want to work on your ambition.
On the other hand, if you haven't seen a pair of pants in weeks because you've been glued to your computer screen in a haze of dysphoria and pre-cum.
You'll probably want to work on all three.
In general, almost everyone needs to work on their awareness to help them cope more effectively.
In fact, our awareness and calmness are the two areas most people will need to focus on, and is largely what this website will help you develop.
In most cases, it's as simple as committing to 10 minutes of meditation per day.
It's how I personally got started.
